2025 Air Show "Frequently Asked Questions"
Tickets are now available for the 2025 Wings Over North Georgia Air Show, scheduled for Friday, Saturday, & Sunday, October 17-18-19, 2025. A variety of ticket options is offered for WONG’s airshow in Rome, GA at the Richard B. Russell Regional Airport.
Aviation enthusiasts can purchase the following ticket options for the 2025 Airshow:
Tickets are DAY SPECIFIC. You will either purchase a Friday, Saturday or Sunday ticket.
WARNING: Under Georgia law, there is no liability for an injury or death of an individual entering the Russell Regional Airport property. If such injury or death results from the inherent risks of contracting COVID-19 or any other communicable disease, you are assuming the risk by entering these premises. Due to the inherit risks of contracting a diesease, guests entering the Wings Over North Georgia airshow agree to do so at their own risk. Patrons attending will not hold the Wings Over North Georgia, LLC; Russell Regional Airport; Floyd County. its employees, volunteers, elected officials, or any and all enties, associates and team memebrs liable.
Q. What is the location of the Wings Over North Georgia Airshow?
A. 304 Russell Field Rd, NE. Rome, GA 30165 ~ Reserved Parking Passes are available on the airport grounds via the ticket page.
Q. Is the Airshow the same both Friday, Saturday, and Sunday?
A. Yes. Show days are normally the same for both Saturday & Sunday performances headlining the US Navy Blue Angels. Weather, mechanical, or performer medical issues force a team and/or performer to adjust and/or cancel. Friday's twi-light and night show will feature the Titan Airshow Team and fireworks display.
Q. May I purchase a ticket onsite the day of show?
A. No, all tickets and parking are available only online, advance only. The show headlining the US Navy Blue Angels will be a sell-out both days.
Q. May I cancel or receive a refund for my tickets?
A. All sales are final; no refunds are available and there are no rain checks/dates. The Air Show is an outdoor event and subject to weather conditions. If weather becomes a factor, there are three flying profiles used to complete the show as scheduled: High, Medium, and Flat--based on cloud ceilings and weather conditions. In the event of inclement weather, acts of God, and/or public incidents, FAA and Public Safety Authority guidelines may require adjustments to show and performer scheduling, including the possibility of postponement or cancellation. All scheduled performances, events, and activities are subject to change without prior notice.
Q. How do I listen to the show?
A. Loudspeakers will be positioned throughout the venue.
Q. Will there be Designated Handicap Parking areas?
A. Yes, there will be designated handicap parking areas. Whether you purchase a Airport Reserved Parking Pass, handicap parking is available. The Drive-In sections are a hard asphalt surface area designated for handicap parking guests. Only authorized handicap vehicles will be allowed to park in this limited location with the proper vehicle credentials.
Q. Is General Aviation Fly-In available this year?
A. No, not this year. All available ramp space will be utilitzed for Static Aircraft.
Q. Will the show be canceled if the Demo jet team(s) were to be canceled by the military?
A. No, unless WONG is forced to cancel the fall show by the government, the show will remain as scheduled.
Q. Where can I find a Schedule of Events?
Q. When should I arrive onsite?
A. Airport entry gates will open at 9:00 AM, approximately 3-hours prior to the event start time. Cars are parked upon arrival from the front to the back. The earlier you arrive, the closer you will be to the front. If you arrive early, you may purchase a helicopter ride, a ride in a B-25, let the kids play in the Kids Zone and visit static aircraft. These are available prior to the show start, during the show,and after the show.
A. How will I be checked-in?
A. Pre-purchased tickets are scanned upon arrival enrty gates. To expedite this process, please have your ticket ready either printed or ready on your phone. Parking staff will guide you to the next available parking spot.
Q. Are Pets Allowed?
A. Pets are NOT allowed within the air show venue. (Service Animals only are admitted with hosts). Authorized camping guests are allowed pets only in their assigned/authorized location. Campers must maintain complete control over all pets in the camping area.

Q. May I bring my own drinks and snacks to the Airshow?
A. Yes, you can bring in your own food and beverage, although there will be numerous food and beverage (list forthcoming) on site. Remember, alcohol is strictly prohibited. All local laws regarding consumption of alcohol will be in effect and enforced. There will be Trash containers throughout the venue, please be courteous and use them for your waste.
Q: Will Food and Beverages be available for purchase?
A: Yes. A variety of food and beverage (list forthcoming) choices are available for purchase during normal show hours, all located in central areas.
Q: Will Drinking Water be available?
A: Yes. In addition to bottled water for purchase, there will be access to public drinking water at the Floyd County EMS/First-Aid Stations, free of charge.
Q: Will there be a First Aid Center?
A. Yes, Atrium-Floyd will have a First Aid Center on site both Saturday and Sunday. You will find them at the Drive-in Tailgating parking entrance. Look for the medical banners.
Q. Will there be public restrooms?
A. Yes. Clean and sanitized Porta Potty’s, as well as Wash Stations will be located throughout the parking areas, as well as Accessible Units. The units will be routinely sanitized throughout the day.
Q. Will smoking be allowed in your private viewing area?
A. No, there will be designated smoking areas throughout the parking areas. If you were to experience problems with this issue, please notify our roving security teams.
Q. May I leave and reenter the Airshow?
A. For reentry you will need to to get a parking pass from a parking attendant. If you are in a Drive-in space, please notify a parking attendant for assistance, you will probably not be in the same space upon reentry.
Q. Is there an Exit Plan once the show is over?
A. Yes, you will either use the same gate that you entered through, and/or follow the directions from the partking attendants or law enforcement. Tailgate/Drive-In Ticket holders will enter and exit out of the same gate, via Russell Field Rd.
