A: The Wings Over North Georgia air show will be held on October 21-22, 2017 at the Russell Regional Airport, located at 304 Russell Field Road, Rome, Georgia 30165.
A: CLICK HERE or press the “BUY TICKETS” button above to purchase tickets. Advance ticket options are currently available online at discounted prices. Tickets will be available during the airshow at the entry gate ticket booths (Cash, MC, Visa, Discover & AMEX cards are accepted). Please Note: Discounted ticket options are available only through the online ticketing services.
A: In the event of inclement weather, acts of god and/or public incidents; the current FAA and Public Safety Authority guidelines may require adjustments to the show & performer schedules including the possibility of postponement or cancellation. All scheduled performers, events & activities are subject to change without prior notice. *This is an outdoor event, there are no rain checks or performer rain date options. All sales are final, no Ticket Refunds available!
A: Air Shows are outdoor events and subject to weather conditions. If weather becomes a factor, there are three flying profiles normally available to get the show completed: High Show, Medium Show and Flat Show. In the event of inclement weather & acts of god; FAA and Public Safety Authority guidelines may require adjustments to the daily show schedules including the possibility of postponement or cancellation. Airshow rain dates are not an option!
A: “Advance Only” Airport Parking is available for $20 per car or motorcycle. There are numerous remote public parking locations ($10 per car paid on site) which includes round trip shuttle bus services to the airport. Bus reservations ($30 each) can be made by calling the airshow office at (706) 291-0030. *Motorcycle parking is located in a reserved area on hard surface. DUE TO FAA REGULATIONS & SECURITY CONCERNS THERE WILL BE NO TAILGATING IN THE AIRPORT PARKING AREAS!
A: The officially recognized Remote Parking Locations have dedicated shuttle bus service to and from the airport included in the remote parking lot fees. These buses run continuously during the scheduled airshow hours of operation.
A: Yes. Designated Handicap Parking areas are available at the airport and remote parking locations. Only authorized handicap vehicles will be allowed to park in these limited available locations.
A: Yes. There are limited bus services & golf cart limo services for the handicap guests only to/from the airport designated bus drop-off locations. Personal motorized wheelchairs and scooters are authorized!

A: Yes! There is a professional Kid’s Zone attraction located along the airshow entry ramp to include: inflatables, bungee jumps, climbing wall, knocker ball along with numerous other kid-friendly activities on the property. There is a separate fee for these attractions. Kids individual tickets to include the daily armband pass (estimated $15 each) can be purchased on-site!
A: Pets are NOT allowed within the airshow venue grounds (Service Animals are admitted with hosts). Authorized camping guests are allowed pets only in their assigned/authorized camping location/spot. Our camping guest must maintain total control over all pets in the camping areas.
A: Yes. Smoking will only be authorized in designated smoking areas only! There is no smoking on the aircraft static dispay ramp due to large quanties of aircraft gas & jet fuel.
A: Yes. A huge variety of international food and beverage choices are available for purchase throughout the normal show hours.
A: Yes. There are numerous ATM’s located throughout the airshow grounds. Most vendor take both cash & credit cards.
A: Yes. In addition to bottled water for purchase, there will be access to emergency public drinking water at the Floyd County EMS/First-Aid Stations, free of charge.
A: Yes. Public Porta Potty’s (including handicap-accessible) and Wash-Stations will be available throughout the airshow grounds.
A: YES/Absolutely. Cameras & Video are highly suggested to record your family’s airshow experience. For those photographer buffs, you may want to choose the Photo Center Ticket weekend & daily pass (Advance on-line only).
