A: The Wings Over North Georgia air show headling the USAF Thunderbirds will be held on October 18-19, 2014 at the Russell Regional Airport, located at 304 Russell Field Road, Rome, Georgia 30165.

A: “Advance” Premium Airport Parking is available for $15 per car. Day of show airport parking if avaiable for $20 per car. Public parking location and shuttle bus services (rountrip) will be available at remote parking locations that will be announced soon! DUE TO FAA REGULATIONS & SECURITY THERE WILL BE NO TAILGATING IN THE AIRPORT PARKING AREAS!
A: Yes. Designated Handicap Parking areas are available at the airport and Rome-Braves stadium parking locations only. Only authorized handicap vehicles will be allowed to park in these reserved locations.
A: Yes. We have limited golf cart limo services for the handicap guests to/from the airport designated drop-off locations only.

General Aviation Fly-In information and reservations can be made by contacting the Russell Regional Airport office (KRMG) at (706) 295-0628 or Mr. Travis Reynolds, Air Show-RAMPCO with your request to fly into KRMG prior to the air show weekend (Oct 17-19, 2014). Travis can be reached via email: firstname.lastname@example.org. Travis and his team will be the air show primary RAMPCO scheduler & directing all aircraft parking needs. Services will be available to include: Jet-A; 100LL, Oils, Diesel, Mo-Gas, etc.
A: Yes! We have a professional Kid’s Zone attraction located at the air show entry to include: flight simulators, inflatables, bungee jumps, climbing wall along with numerous other kid-friendly activities on the property. This is a separate fee for these attarctions. Kids individual tickets or daily armband (estimated $12-15 each) pass can be purchased on-site!

A: All tickets sales are final. There are no rain checks or refunds. If weather becomes an issue, there are three flying profiles we use to get the show completed as scheduled: High Show, Medium Show and Flat Show. There are no air show rain dates! The BBQ Classic competition goes forward rain or shine.

A: Pets are NOT allowed within the air show venue ground (Service Animals are admitted with hosts). Authorized camping guests are allowed pets only in their assigned/authorized camping location/spot. Our camping guest must maitain total controls over all pets in the camping areas.
A: Yes. We will have numerous ATM’s located throughout the air show grounds. Please Note: Most vendor sales are cash transactions only.

A: Yes. In addition to bottled water for purchase, there will be access to public drinking water at the Floyd County EMS/First-Aid Stations, free of charge.
