Rome, Georgia; June 29, 2018 —According to JLC AirShow Management officials, the seventh annual Wings Over North Georgia Air Show returns this fall to Rome’s Russell Regional Airport featuring another premier performer lineup! Headlining the USAF F-22 Raptor(Fifth Generation Jet Fighter), USAF A-10 Thunderbolt II (Warthog Tank Killer) and Tora! Tora! Tora! Demonstration Teams.
The 2018 Wings Over North Georgia air show will take place October 13-14 at the Russell Regional Airport in Rome, GA. The Wings Over North Georgia Air Show presented by JLC AirShow Management, remains North Georgia’s #1 fall family event for the seventh straight year. The 2017 air show hosted record breaking crowds exceeding 80,000 attendees during the two-day event. Ms Tina Talton, JLC AirShow Management Organizer acknowledged “This years show will be so awesome with the modern day military fighter jet presence and special effect pyrotechnics. There will be lots of BOOM-BOOM-BOOM and FIRE BALLS as these pilots demonstrate their aircraft capabilities”.
The world class performer lineup features a strong array of military, civilian and war bird performers to include — USSOCOM Paracommandos Jump Team; Class of 45; Michael Goulian; Patty Wagstaff; Buck Roetman; Scott Farnsworth; Joe Masessa; Bill Braack and the Ladies For Liberty Singing Trio. Dozens of static aircraft and exhibits will be on display offering air show spectators an enhanced hands-on experience inspiring our future aviators and entice current aficionados.
