WINGS OVER NORTH GEORGIA TO COLLECT DONATIONS FOR TOYS FOR TOTS DURING AIR SHOW WEEKEND

ROME, GEORGIA; October 15, 2017 – Fans attending this weekend’s 2017 Wings Over North Georgia Air Show Presented by Parker FiberNet at Rome’s Russell Regional airport can show their support for less fortunate children in the Northwest Georgia areas by participating in the local Toys for Tots Toy Drive.  Attendees are asked to donate a new, unwrapped toy for the drive.  Each person bringing a toy to contribute will receive an Official Air Show Poster (while supplies last).

“Toys collected will be provided to children within Chattooga, Floyd and Polk Counties that would otherwise have a bleak Christmas,” states Greater Rome Area Toys for Tots Coordinator Hal Gosnell.  “97% of all donations to Toys for Tots goes towards providing toys for the program as no salaries or personnel costs are paid from donations.  All of the Greater Rome chapter members are volunteers as we are truly about providing joy and happiness to the children in our community.”

Toys will be collected each day at the air show ticketing center, October 21-22 starting at 8:30 am.  “We’re very thankful to have the support of our Wings Over North Georgia air show fans that step up to help the less fortunate families in this community by participating in this outstanding program,” shares Air Show Promoter John Cowman.
The 2017 edition of Wings Over North Georgia’s aerial action headlines the USN Blue A
